ARLINGTON, VA (April 6, 2023) — The American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) commends the sponsors of the 2023 AFB Leadership Conference and Helen Keller Achievement Awards. Their continued support of AFB helps drive our mission forward to create a world of no limits for people who are blind or have low vision.

“We have put together a fantastic program with a strong emphasis on empowering digital inclusion, and thanks to this “year’s sponsors, we are able to further create a world of no limits for people who are blind in the digital age,” said Sylvia Stinson Perez, AFB Chief Programs Officer. “In addition, sponsors, along with attendees, will have the opportunity to interact and meet our Blind Leaders, where they can learn first hand how their support has helped them gain confidence and the skills necessary to unlock their full potential.”

The AFB Leadership Conference is an annual event that brings together leaders and collaborators from across the field of blindness and vision loss. The conference will take place April 20th - 21st at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, Virginia. The Helen Keller Achievement Awards, now in its 29th year, will open up the conference on the evening of April 19th. To learn more or register for the events, visit: www.afb.org.
