We had an opportunity to go to the New York Institute for Special Education and talk to some kids about what they want to be when they grow up. This video highlights a handful of the students and their ambitious future plans.

Video of students with visual impairments being interviewed at their school. Each child takes a turn sitting in front of the camera at the head of the classroom. The interviewer is off screen.
Interviewer: What would you like to be when you grow up?
Child #1: I would like to be an author for children's books.
Child #2: I want to be a train driver, I mean, a train worker.
Child #3: I want to be a hairdresser when I grow up.
Child #4: I would like to be a famous basketball player, and if that doesn't work out, a person that runs on a track or an actor.
Child #5: I would either want to be a teacher, a track star, or I want to make my own store where every label is in braille.
